Hi! I’m Anna, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a native Nashvillian and have always been captivated by people.

In my individual work with clients, I take a gentle, relational approach rooted in attachment theory and nervous system awareness. I believe healing happens in the context of safe relationships, and I aim to create a space where clients feel seen, known, and empowered to rewrite the stories that no longer serve them. Whether we’re working through the effects of childhood trauma, religious wounds, or the chronic stress of people-pleasing and perfectionism, I’ll support you in learning how to listen to your body, build emotional resilience, and reconnect to your true self.

Using an integrative approach, we may pull from Internal Family Systems, CBT, DBT, somatic work, and experiential exercises. I also offer practical, everyday tools to help you regulate your nervous system and grow your capacity for self-compassion. This might look like grounding exercises, mindful breathwork, boundary-setting strategies, or learning how to recognize and respond to inner critical voices with kindness and curiosity.

From a young age, I found myself naturally drawn to the role of listener—empathizing with others and creating safe spaces for connection. Growing up in a family that normalized doing inner work, I began therapy myself to better understand my own story and the relational traumas from my own life. The insight I gained changed my life and my relationships, and now I consider it a true honor to walk alongside others in their healing journeys.

During my college years at The University of Tennessee, I met my husband, and our 16+ years of marriage continues to teach us about grace and patience.

I received my Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Lipscomb University in 2012 and completed clinical internships in both private school and church settings. One of my internships led me to working with adolescents, and I was hired after graduation to continue that work.

When my husband and I entered parenthood, I made the intentional decision to step away from my career to focus on caregiving. Now, with three children, we’re navigating the messy, beautiful realities of raising a young family. As a therapist and mother, I understand the overwhelm that can come with balancing self-care, relationships, marriage, careers, and parenting. I also have firsthand experience supporting a neurodiverse household and caring for medically complex children. These experiences have shaped my heart and deepened my practice. In 2024, I was thrilled to launch my own private practice.

With me, you're going to get a therapist who is authentic, invested, and fully present. Therapy with me isn’t like a friendship where space is shared and balanced—this is your space, and you get to take up every bit of it. Your friends may mean well, but often they want to fix it or lighten the mood to pull you out of your pain. Here, we do something different. We lean into it. We turn up the volume so you can finally hear what your anxiety, depression, or perfectionism is trying to tell you. Your symptoms aren’t flaws—they’re messengers. Together, we’ll listen with compassion and curiosity, and from that place, begin to heal.
