I have always been a passionately curious person with a deep desire to help others in the midst of their pain. Before my counseling career, I spent several years in a previous marketing career where I found myself feeling truly lost and disconnected from my values. My personal experience with honoring my own pain and partnering with a therapist led me on a lifelong journey to dismantle limiting beliefs and heal from wounds of my past. My passion and hope is to help others engage in their story and reconnect to themselves and others in a way they once did or perhaps never have.
I help individuals and couples understand how past experiences shape their present relationships and work with them to develop healthier attachment patterns, self-compassion, and emotional resilience. I also work with couples who long for deeper connection and intimacy but find themselves stuck in negative cycles which prevents them from finding healthy ways to communicate and relate to one another.
I specialize in working with those who have been impacted by narcissistic abuse and understand the profound emotional and psychological toll it takes on one’s self-worth, relationships, and overall sense of identity. Whether you’re grappling with feelings of confusion, shame, anxiety, or self-doubt, I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space where we can work together to rebuild your sense of self and empower you to create healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
I am deeply attuned to the struggles and complexities of being raised in dysfunctional family systems or impacted by a loved one’s addiction. Many of my clients have faced neglect, emotional abandonment, unpredictable caregiving, or felt the effects of a loved ones addiction, leaving them with patterns of people-pleasing, perfectionism, fear of conflict, feelings of inadequacy, fear of abandonment, or difficulty trusting others. Together, we’ll explore the stories you’ve carried with you and begin to untangle the ways in which past experiences might still influence your present thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. We’ll work collaboratively to rewrite parts of your story, shifting from survival to healing, from shame to self-empowerment. I will be here to support you in reclaiming the agency and self-worth that may have been lost along the way.
By understanding the roots of these patterns, we can begin to rewrite our narratives and transform our relational dynamics. I help integrate insights and analyze patterns from your stories, paired with embodied styles of processing to empower you to reach a deeper level of functioning and wholeness. This includes Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Gottman Method, experiential techniques and Brainspotting. I also believe in equipping clients with practical tools to utilize in daily life where this work matters most.
