Hi! I’m Welcome! I’m Halle, and I’m so glad you’re here. As a counselor, my passion is helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with resilience, hope, and healing. I specialize in working with children (10+), teens, young adults, and parents facing anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, relational challenges, life transitions, and family dysfunction.
In our work together, I use a variety of evidence-based approaches tailored to your unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), positive psychology, attachment-based therapy, faith-based therapy, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and EMDR. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you or your family can feel seen, heard, and empowered.
For Children: I offer a compassionate and supportive space to help them process their emotions, build confidence, and navigate the challenges of growing up. When anxiety makes everyday tasks feel overwhelming, when sadness keeps them from engaging in the things they once loved, or when self-doubt whispers that they’re not enough, I am here to help. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or navigating friendships and school pressures, I tailor my approach to meet their unique needs. I strive to foster trust and connection, helping them develop healthy coping skills, resilience, and a stronger sense of self. Together, we will step into the journey, helping them find words for the feelings they don’t understand and giving them the tools to move forward with confidence.
For Teens and Young Adults: These transitional years are often filled with significant change and uncertainty. Some days, the weight of expectations feels crushing. The pressure to perform in school, to fit in, or to make life-altering decisions can lead to sleepless nights, self-doubt, and an overwhelming sense of being lost. The ache of loneliness, the fear of failure, or the exhaustion of trying to prove yourself can take a toll on your emotional well-being. Whether it’s navigating academic pressures, exploring identity, adjusting to new life stages, or managing relationships, I provide a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you can work through your challenges and discover your strengths. Together, we’ll sit with the hard feelings, untangle the confusion, and address issues like anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and decision-making while equipping you with tools for personal growth and emotional well-being. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.
For Parents: Parenting is deeply rewarding, but it can also be exhausting, heartbreaking, and lonely. Maybe you feel like you're failing—like no matter what you do, it isn’t enough. Maybe your child is struggling, shutting you out, or acting out in ways you don’t understand. The frustration, the worry, the guilt—it can be overwhelming. I offer specialized support as a TBRI practitioner, equipping you with tools and principles to strengthen connections and foster healing in your family. I believe in the power of relationships and am committed to walking alongside you as you build stronger bonds with your children. Together, we will step into the hard places, explore the pain, and find a way forward—one that leads to deeper understanding, healing, and hope.
If faith is an important part of your journey, I enjoy incorporating faith-based principles into our sessions, weaving together spiritual and therapeutic insights to guide your growth and healing.
Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I’m here to help you move toward a place of greater peace and well-being. It takes courage to take the first step, and I’d be honored to walk this journey with you.
Let’s work together to help you or your family thrive.
